13th- 14th May '11- You crack me up

I love cut and paste or collage or whatever its called. I know it looks really easy to do but its not that easy. It takes awhile to think of which papers will go with which. Then how to assemble it to resemble something you want. Then when to keep adding stuff and when to stop. Coz in the end it looks like its so simple and took no time and effort. Try it!

Did some more pages in the book, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to handle this book and photograph it. Because it is so old, and when i flip the page, something tears and I'm scared i might tear everything. So thinking maybe for the next part of the book if i should tear the book out but then the charm of the book would go. hmmmm. still thinking how to deal with it!

11th, 12th April '11- Fullstop

Why do you look at me if you have nothing to say.

Women talk, Men shut up. Basic premise. Women can express, communicate better. Men cant. Just a simple way of showing the truth. haha

I forgot how much i love old paper and used things and like to work with it. So when i peeled out this tape from a carton i got this brown paper like thing and i knew i wanted to make something out of it.

7th March '11- Miss Grumpy- Work in Progress

So I wanted to try something similar but something different. I wanted to use newspaper as canvas but make it sturdier. So I did manage to make it much tougher and stronger. Also for the Imagery I wanted to use cloth. Just took awhile to figure how the cloth flows and how to make it stay! Well, this is a work in progress, currently it is drying as i doused it in glue! I don't know if it will improve or completely kill the girl but we will see. Will put up final pictures once it is dry!
